
Getting Your Powder Curing Fast (Without the Bulk)
When you’re working with small parts, you don’t need a massive industrial oven taking up half your shop. That’s why we build countertop heaters. We use high-density infrared lamps to get your parts up to temperature fast, so you can get them out the door and move on to the next job. The heat side of things We usually go with shortwave quartz lamps. The trick here is the watt-density. By packing more wattage into a shorter tube, we create a heat flux that forces the powder to cross-link and cure way faster. Just make sure your shop’s power—usually 220V or 380V—matches the unit. One thing to keep in mind: if you crank the wattage to shave a few seconds off your cure time, you need serious insulation. You don’t want the outside of the machine becoming a branding iron for whoever is standing next to it. Parts that actually last (and are easy to fix) We use quartz glass for the envelopes because it doesn’t crack when you cycle the heat up and down rapidly. Inside, we use tungsten filaments—often halogen-filled—to squeeze every last hour of life out of the lamp. Whether you need R7s or Sk15 connectors, we’ve got them. We make these “drop-in” replacements because we know how high-turnover shops work. These lamps take a beating. They will burn out eventually. When they do, you shouldn’t have to rewire the whole chassis just to get back to work. You just swap it and go.
