Unlike old-school convection heat that just warms the air, this stuff dives straight into paint layers and coatings. It’s faster. Much faster. Getting the heat right The 1020mm length is a sweet spot. It lets you cover wide belts or big parts without those annoying cold spots that ruin a finish. Since we’ve dialed it to 2000W, you get the kind of heat density that flashes off solvents in a heartbeat. The heat stays consistent across the whole tube, but here’s a pro tip: check your wiring. If your power supply can’t handle the draw, you’ll see voltage drops at the ends of the lamp, and that’s a headache you don’t want. The secret is in the glass We use high-purity quartz for the envelope. Why? Because it can take a massive thermal shock and won’t warp when things get blistering hot. Inside, there’s a halogen cycle happening. It stops the tungsten filament from evaporating and gunking up the walls. This keeps the glass crystal clear so the light actually gets through. But be careful.**One fingerprint or a smudge of oil on that quartz can kill the lamp.**It creates a hot spot, the glass stresses, and then it pops. Seriously, grab some isopropyl alcohol and wipe it down before you wire it up. Real-world use You’ll see these all over PET blowing and paint shops. Because the radiation hits the part directly, your pieces spend way less time in the oven. Just keep in mind that 2000W in a small tube creates some serious heat. Make sure your oven housing and fans are up to the task. You don’t want your reflectors warping or your electronics frying just because the lamp is doing its job too well.
