Why clear quartz and an R7s base?
Here’s the thing about the clear quartz envelope: it lets infrared energy pass straight through. No diffusing coating. No slowing down the heat. Inside, the halogen cycle keeps the filament stable, which fights blackening and helps the lamp hold its output over time. And the R7s connector? It’s a straight-line, double-ended design that gives you a strong, low-resistance connection. It also makes the lamp a straightforward drop-in replacement for fixtures you already have.
Precision heat, right where you point it
This setup was made for jobs that demand pinpoint heating—PET blowing, plastic welding, curing adhesives.
