
Why We Built Twin Tube Infrared Heaters
We built these twin tube infrared heaters for one simple reason: to pack a lot of heat into a small space. Inside each quartz tube, the halogen element keeps the filament running hotter. That directly translates into more wattage per inch. So you get serious heat output in a tight line—exactly what you need when your heating zone is compact.
Power, Voltage, and Size—Without the Bulk
These lamps are all about high heat density. A typical setup runs at 400V and 2500W, delivering real power in a 300mm length. Because it’s high voltage, the current draw stays lower on the line. But it does mean your control system needs to be comfortable handling the voltage tolerance. The twin tube layout doubles the heating surface without making the machine bigger. That means you can spec a smaller oven or heater body and still get the output you need.
What’s Inside—And Why It Matters
Every tube is quartz, and that’s not by accident. It handles sudden temperature changes and stays stable when things get seriously hot. The halogen cycle protects the filament, so you get less blackening and more consistent output over time. We add a reflective coating to push infrared energy forward. Less wasted heat. More uniform heating across the target. And the connections? We use an R7s connector because it locks the tube in place and stays solid at high temperatures. If you need something tougher for harsh environments, the Sk15 base gives you industrial-grade termination.
Where It Shines—And How to Keep It Running
These lamps were made for industrial process heating: PET blowing, plastic welding, curing lines—anywhere you need fast response and focused heat. The twin tube design also gives you a practical edge: redundancy. If one tube fails, you can swap it out while production keeps going. That said, the high heat density comes with a trade-off. Your machine’s cooling and airflow have to be properly spec’d. Push the lamp outside its thermal limits and you’ll burn out the filament quickly. Set up the cooling right, keep airflow steady, and it runs like a workhorse.
